Mamá is with me!

My mamá passed away 18 months ago. I talk to and pray for her every day, several times a day. I find it extremely comforting to keep her near me in one way or another.

In 2021, mamá and I celebrated our last Mother’s Day together. Mamá gave me this quote in a frame, she gave me many gifts but this one was the last gift she physically gave me. At the moment, I had no idea it would be the last and I cherish it! Mamá loved her indoor and outdoor plants. When mamá passed, my daughter took her plants, made mini plants, and shared them with us, I feel a part of my mami in these plants. To this day, my plants are flourishing. Every time I see them and water them, I remember my mamá!!! I know she’s in peace and pain-free. I think the grief of her loss will always be present but the peace of feeling her near me will help me survive until we meet again!

Dear God
I need a favor. Please put a kiss on my mother’s cheek and tell her it’s from me.
